In the series, Coldstone is voiced by Star Trek legend Michael Dorn. Coldstone, the gargoyle-android hybrid from the classic Gargoyles animated series, will soon receive his own handsome new figure courtesy of NECA. The reveal was made as the cover story for To圜ollectr, a new toy magazine launching later this year. It's from this group the main clan originated, including Goliath, Demon, Hudson, and others. Renowned for its drama, Shakespearean themes and complex story arcs, the series has long been beloved by fans and is currently available for viewing on Disney+.The fan-favorite character first appeared in the Season One finale as one of the members of the Wyvern Clan, the first group of gargoyles destroyed by vikings. Gargoyles, which originally aired for three seasons from 1994 to 1997, stars a family of anthropomorphic stone defenders who are reawakened from suspended animation atop a medieval Scottish castle to find themselves in New York City. Marvel’s Gargoyles series, which ran from 1994 to 1995 and featured early work from comic industry titans like Amanda Conner, Joe Madureira and Jimmy Palmiotti, will be the first of these releases, hitting store shelves in the fourth quarter of 2022.
